On December 30, the school held 2021 New Year Celebration Meeting for Foreign Teachers in the Lecture Hall on the second floor of Houde Building. President Zhao Shengcun attended the Meeting and delivered a speech. Vice president Li Yongping presided over the Meeting.
At the Meeting, Zhao Shengcun first extended holiday greetings to foreign teachers on behalf of the school and expressed sincere gratitude to the foreign teachers for their contributions to the development of the school in the past year. He pointed out that in the past year, the school had been guided by the new development concept, deeply promoted various comprehensive reforms, and made new achievements in discipline construction, talent introduction, scientific research, international exchanges, infrastructure construction and other fields. The school has always insisted on opening up schools, vigorously introducing high-level talents, and promoting international exchanges and cooperation in all aspects and multiple fields. It is hoped that foreign teachers will give full play to their own advantages, continue to provide advice and suggestions for the internationalization of our school, provide valuable experience, and further enhance the level of internationalization.
Miloslava,the representative of Russian language teacher, expressed gratitude to the school for the care and help given to foreign teachers during the epidemic, and thanked the school for creating a good working and living environment for foreign teachers, so that foreign teachers can be fully committedinto the teaching work.
Kim Joo Young,the Korean dance professor and representative of foreign doctors teacher,who was introduced in October 2020 said that she will try to use her years of experience in guiding students in dancing and choreography and strive to make her own contribution in promoting cultural and artistic exchanges between China and South Korea.
At the meeting, the heads of relevant departments and colleges and foreign teachers had a warm interactive communication, and the event achieved good results.
