On December 5, 2019, Dezhou China-Russia Cooperation Forum for Frontier & Interdisciplinary Studies of Biophysics opened in the lecture hall on the fourth floor of Houde Building. Guests attending the ceremony included Academician Andre Degmend, director of the Institute of Biophysics of the Siberian Branch of the Russian Academy of Sciences, Mrs. Oligo Lebedev, dean of the School of Biochemistry, Belgorod State Research University of Russia, Zhao Shengcun, president of Dezhou Universtiy, Li Yongping, vice president of Dezhou University, Li Yongsen, deputy director of the Shandong Foreign Affairs Office, Wei Xiangqun, deputy director of Publicity and Investigation Division of Shandong Foreign Affairs Office, and Feng Lin, deputy director of Dezhou Foreign Affairs Office.
Zhao Shengcun issued letters of appointment for Andre Degmend and Olija Lebedev, and together with Academician Andre Degmend, he unveiled "China-Russian International Biophysical Joint Laboratory", co-sponsored by Dezhou University and Institute of Biophysics of the Siberia Branch of Russian Academy of Sciences. The head of the key laboratory of biophysics of Dezhou University, the head of the School of Medicine and Nursing of Dezhou University, and Mrs. Origa Lebedev jointly unveiled the "Joint Laboratory for Cell and Microbiology" and the "Joint Laboratory for New Pharmaceutical preparations".
Li Yongping and Academician Andre Degmend signed a memorandum of cooperation for the Tianqu Talents Program.
At the opening ceremony, a staff member read the congratulation letter signed by Andrey Denisov, the Ambassador of the Russian Federation to China.
After the opening ceremony, the participants visited the Shandong Provincial Key Laboratory of Biophysics.
It is reported that on December 5th and 6th, experts from China and Russia will hold 17 lectures for teachers and students of our university.
