On the morning of October 29, the university held the opening ceremony of the eighth master class of Russian art and the opening ceremony of the exchange of works between Chinese and Russian oil painters in the lecture hall on the fourth floor of Houde Building. Li Yongping, vice president of the university, attended the ceremony and issued a letter of appointment for visiting professors Mokrushen and Spiridonov. The famous Russian painter Professor Mokrushen Valery and Professor Spiridonov Vadim, Feng Lin, deputy director of the Dezhou Foreign Affairs Office, and Jin Hong, secretary-general of the Dezhou Artists Association, attended the ceremony.
Li Yongping delivered a speech and introduced the basic situation of the "Master Class of Russian Art" project. He hoped that the teachers and students of the university would cherish the opportunity to learn from the masters, ask for more advice with an open mind, experience and toughening more skills, and to continuously improve their artistic accomplishments. He also hoped that relevant departments would serve the masters well and create a good teaching and living environment.
Morkrushen Valery said that this event would help promote the exchange of outstanding Chinese and Russian painters, and the cooperation between the two sides in the field of culture and art would further promote the development of cooperation between the two countries and friendship between the two peoples, which will contribute to the building of a harmonious world of lasting, peaceful and common prosperity.
After the ceremony, the participants watched the art exhibition held in the exhibition hall of the School of Fine Arts.
