On March 24, Professor Dariusz Miklewicz, Vice Rector of Gdańsk University of Technology, Poland, visited Dezhou University. Liu Yinfang, Vice President of Dezhou University, attended the symposium and delivered remarks.

On behalf of Dezhou University, Liu Yinfang extended a warm welcome and expressed gratitude to Vice Rector Miklewicz for his visit. He noted that Gdańsk University of Technology is an important international partner of Dezhou University. Since the establishment of cooperation in 2014, both institutions have engaged in substantive collaboration across multiple fields, which has become a significant platform for the university's international talent cultivation and the introduction of quality educational resources. He expressed hope that this visit would serve as an opportunity for both sides to conduct in-depth discussions on key issues such as the sustainable development of the China-foreign cooperative education program in Energy and Power Engineering, establish long-term operational mechanisms, and plan high-quality development pathways. The lectures that Vice Rector Miklewicz will deliver to program students will also inject new momentum into enhancing the quality and efficiency of the program. As this year marks the 77th anniversary of the establishment of diplomatic relations between China and Poland, the university looks forward to deepening youth exchanges between the two institutions, encouraging student exchange programs and joint research initiatives, and promoting deeper and more substantive cultural and people-to-people exchanges between the two countries.
In his remarks, Dariusz Miklewicz expressed gratitude for the warm hospitality of Dezhou University and spoke highly of the cooperation achievements between the two institutions over the years. He stated that Gdańsk University of Technology attaches great importance to its partnership with Dezhou University and is committed to working hand in hand with Dezhou University to strengthen communication and build consensus on core issues such as the sustainable development of the China-foreign cooperative education program. Both sides will continuously optimize talent cultivation programs, improve the English intensive teaching system, and achieve more practical results in cooperation in areas such as talent cultivation and academic exchanges.
During the symposium, responsible personnel from both sides engaged in thorough exchanges on English intensive teaching and the optimization of talent cultivation programs for the China-foreign cooperative education program in Energy and Power Engineering, laying a solid foundation for the implementation of subsequent cooperation. Representatives from the International ExchangeandCooperationOffice and the School of Energy and Mechanical Engineering attended the meeting.
