On November 18th, the unveiling ceremony of the Shandong Russia-Central Asia Economic and Cultural Research Center and the founding conference of the Dezhou Education Internationalization Working Alliance were held in our school.
In his speech, Wu Jun, Chairman of the School Affairs Committeesaid that the establishment of the Shandong Russia-Central Asia Economic and Cultural Research Center and the Dezhou Education Internationalization Working Alliance is precisely an important measure for the school to study and implement the spirit of the Third Plenary Session of the 20th Central Committee of the Communist Party of China, fully implement the deployment requirements of the National Education Conference, and promote the high-level opening up of education in the new era.The school has been deeply implementing the internationalization strategy and the action plan for opening up, and actively promoting cooperation with universities and research institutes in countries along the "Belt and Road Initiative" such as Russia, Central Asia, and ASEAN. It will give full play to its advantages, strengthen its characteristics, and enhance its capabilities. Together with all parties, it will build the Shandong Russia-Central Asia Economic and Cultural Research Center into a specialized research platform that involves multiple disciplines, focuses on research issues, and shares multiple resources, providing strong intellectual support for promoting economic and cultural exchanges and trade cooperation between Shandong and Russia-Central Asia countries. It will also give full play to the active role of the alliance, inject new vitality into the education internationalization process of Dezhou City, and create a model of Dezhou, an education-strong province.
Rizaev Kahlo, Rector of of the Tashkent Pharmaceutical Institute in Uzbekistan, delivered a video speech. He said that with its outstanding teaching staff, the far-sightedness of the management, and the scientific potential of young talents, Dezhou University will surely be able to achieve the established goals in education and scientific undertakings, laying a solid foundation for the long-term cooperation between the two sides and the joint implementation of education plans and projects.
Kuchmist Vladislav, vice Rector of Belgorod State Research University, delivered a speech. He said that the Russia-Central Asia Economic and Cultural Research Center is an important part of the implementation of the "Belt and Road Initiative". It will strengthen the innovative international cooperation model and cooperate with China in various fields such as economy and trade, education, science and technology, and culture. It will also learn from China's experience in development and integration into the world economy and implement joint projects. He expressed the willingness to establish a long-term partnership with China.
Sun Yebao delivered a speech. He said that the Shandong Russia-Central Asia Economic and Cultural Research Center and the Dezhou Education Internationalization Working Alliance will surely complement each other and provide strong support for conducting cutting-edge economic and cultural research and authoritative information consultation, further helping Shandong to build a new highland of high-level opening up. In the future, the Foreign Affairs Office of the Shandong Provincial Party Committee will also continue to uphold the concept of openness, cooperation and win-win results, strengthen communication and coordination, optimize the foreign affairs environment, provide more support for the development of the center and the alliance, promote the landing of more international cooperation projects with Russia and Central Asian countries, and contribute Shandong's strength to serving the overall situation of neighboring diplomacy.

He said that the establishment of the Shandong Russia-Central Asia Economic and Cultural Research Center and the Dezhou Education Internationalization Working Alliance is a beneficial exploration to better and more effectively promote the internationalization of education in our province and will play a leading and exemplary role in international cooperation in other regions. It is hoped that Dezhou University will take the unveiling ceremony of the Shandong Russia-Central Asia Economic and Cultural Research Center and the establishment of the Dezhou Education Internationalization Working Alliance as a new starting point, strengthen integration, form a joint force, standardize management, strictly adhere to the bottom line, and carry out various activities in accordance with laws and regulations. At the same time, increase support and guidance for various key tasks, create a good environment for the center's construction and the alliance's operation, and make new and greater contributions to accelerating the construction of an education-strong province.
The school was approved to establish a Shandong foreign affairs think tank - the Shandong Russia-Central Asia Economic and Cultural Research Center. Sun Yebao, Wu Jun, Kuchmist Vladislav and Zhang Fangrui unveiled the plaque for the Shandong Russia-Central Asia Economic and Cultural Research Center.
As the sponsoring unit, the school, together with Dezhou Vocational and Technical College, Huayu Institute of Technology, Dezhou Science and Technology Vocational College, Dezhou Engineering Vocational College, Dezhou No.1 Middle School, Linyi County No.1 Middle School, Dezhou No.9 Middle School, Dezhou Experimental Primary School and Dezhou Yuntian Education Group, established the Dezhou Education Internationalization Working Alliance. Guan Enwen, Sun Zuxing, Zhang Shaoxian and Liu Yinfang unveiled the plaque for the Dezhou Education Internationalization Working Alliance.

They also presented a part-time researcher certificate of the Shandong Russia-Central Asia Economic and Cultural Research Center to Dr. Khramulyak Maria from Russia, and appointment letters of members of the academic committee of the Shandong Russia-Central Asia Economic and Cultural Research Center to Professors Xu Tao, Li Ziguo, Wang Zonghu and Ma Fengshu.
After the ceremony, Xu Tao, a researcher and doctoral supervisor at the China Institute of Contemporary International Relations, Li Ziguo, the director of the Eurasia Institute of the China Institute of International Studies, Ma Fengshu, the director of the Center for Russian and Central Asian Studies at Shandong University and from the School of Political Science and Public Administration at Shandong University, and Dr. Khramulyak Maria from Russia gave special reports on education, culture, economy in China, Russia and Central Asia, as well as the path to accelerate the improvement of the "Belt and Road Initiative" mechanism under the new situation and the problems faced in building a community with a shared future for mankind. Professor Wang Zonghu, the dean of the School of Foreign Languages at Capital Normal University, gave a report titled "Foreign Language Education and Foreign Language Learning in the Age of Artificial Intelligence".
