On April 26, our school and Moscow City University held a remote video conference in No. 6 meeting room of Houde Building. The meeting was attended by the heads of the International Exchange and Cooperation Office, the College Literature and Journalism and the College of Foreign Language.
The head of the International Exchange and Cooperation Office briefly introduced current state of our school and the work done in recent years, especially the fruitful accomplishments achieved by our school and Russian universities in the fields of Joint running schools, exchange visits between teachers and students, scientific research cooperation, arts master classes, cultural exchanges and so on. She hoped that the two schools will take this online meeting as an opportunity to work together, learn from each other, and jointly promote cooperation between the two sides in many fields.
The head of International Exchange and Cooperation Office of Moscow City University introduced the current state of Moscow City University and the cooperation with Chinese universities. He hoped that the two schools would actively carry out friendly cooperation and promote various cooperation matters as soon as possible.
At the meeting, the relevant officials of the College Literature and Journalism and the College of Foreign Languages introduced the current state of the two Colleges. The two sides conducted in-depth view exchanges on the establishment of the College of Chinese Language and Culture Exchange Center, the development of double degree programs, and the program of master's degree for Chineses tudents, which have reached an initial agreement.
Moscow City University was established in 1995. There are 13 Institutes, including the Institute of Humanities, the Institute of Natural Science and Sports Technologies, the Institute of Foreign Languages, the Institute of Pedagogy and Psychology of Education, the Institute of Sociology and Social Relations, and the Institute of Law and Management. There are 20000 students, 1300 teachers, 60% of teachers hold PhD degree, 23% of teachers hold Doctorate degree. The school has strong scientific research background and outstanding educational characteristics. It has Laboratory of Educational Psychology, Laboratory of Healthy Promotion in Education, Laboratory of Child Development, Laboratory of Theory and Teaching Methods of International Baccalaureate, Laboratory of Monitoring research outcomes and Laboratory of Monitoring Research Outcomes. Although Moscow City University is a young university, it has become one of the first-class normal universities in Russia.
