On August 11th, the "Meet SCO" Shandong-Russian Education Exchange and Cooperation Dialogue jointly organized by the Foreign Affairs Office of People's Government of Shandong Province and Shandong Education Department was held in Jinan. The establishment of the Sino-Russian (Shandong) Education International Cooperation Alliance was announced at the meeting. Vice-president Li Yongping attended the conference and delivered a speech.
In the speech session, Dezhou University was the only university not in Jinan to speak at the scene. Li Yongping introduced the basic situation of Dezhou University and shared the current status of the school’s international exchanges and cooperation, especially the cooperation with Russian universities: achievements in joint education program, scientific research cooperation, cultural and artistic exchanges and more, and put forward ideas for future cooperation with Russia.
The Sino-Russian (Shandong) Education International Cooperation Alliance is a non-profit organization jointly initiated by relevant universities, vocational schools, middle schools and Russian schools in Shandong Province under the joint support of Shandong Education Department and Foreign Affairs Office of People's Government of Shandong Province. Aiming to create a high-end platform for international cooperation in education, gather extensively high-quality educational resources of China and Russia, and play a role in promoting cultural exchanges between China and Russia. Our school has joined the alliance as a founding member unit.
In the next step, our school will rely on the platform of the Sino-Russian (Shandong) Education International Cooperation Alliance to increase cooperation with Russia's top universities, continue to build our school's characteristics of exchanges with Russia, and continue to deepen cooperation with universities in countries along the "One Belt and One Road".
