On August 13, the 22nd Annual Conference “Public Health Safety and Biotechnology Forum”of Chinese Association of Science and Technology was held in Dezhou. Party Secretary Che Bin attended the opening ceremony of the forum. Academician Chen Runsheng, academician of the Chinese Academy of Sciences, researcher of Institute of Biophysics, Chinese Academy of Sciences, adjunct professor ofDezhou University, and deputy director of the Academic Committee of Shandong Provincial Key Laboratory of Biophysics, attended the forum and delivered a keynote report on "From New Coronavirus, Precision Medicine to Nucleic Acid Drugs".
Che Bin welcomed Academician Chen to the university to guide the work. He hoped Academician Chen, as always, will give full play to his own advantages to promote the construction of the Shandong Provincial Key Laboratory of Biophysics, promote the development of the school and it’s integrated development with Dezhou city, thereby making new contributions to the regional economy and social development.
Academician Chen Runsheng spoke highly on the achievements of Dezhou University. He said that he will do his best to make suggestions for the development of the laboratory, and hope that the research work of the key biophysics laboratory will reach a new level and make contributions to the connotation construction of school.
