On the morning of March 29, Professor Yao Yifeng, a PhD supervisor of Nanjing Normal University, a well-known expert in urban landscape and human geography in China, was invited by the School of Resources, Environment and Planning of our university to make a report entitled "Exploring Chinese Painting's Artistic Conception in Landscapes" in Classroom 3002 of Qiushi Building. The teachers and students of related majors of School of Resources, Environment and Planning listened to the report.
Professor Yao deeply analyzed the traditional aesthetic style of Chinese villages from a multi-dimensional perspective such as "recognizing the characteristics of painting, the 'Chinese Painting's Artistic Conception' in traditional Chinese landscapes, Chinese garden landscapes, exploring rural planning and landscape painting, the problems of modern Chinese landscape construction". And he put forward some new ideas and thoughts, which had broadened the academic vision and ideas of teachers and students, who had benefited a lot. For example, the modern large-scale rural transformation and construction in China, on the surface, is for the purpose of the actual use of human functions, and the deeper significance is about the permanent sustainable development of the relationship between man and land. The state of "the union of nature and man" in Chinese landscape painting had important reference values for our present rural planning and construction.
