On March 11th, our school and Ajou University held signing ceremony of Joint master's training and joint master’s degree supervisor cooperation project through remote video. Li Yongping,Vice President of our school,Jiang Jinglan, Dean of the School of Software Engineering Integration of Ajou University,and Kim Min-kyu, Dean of the graduate school attended the signing ceremony.
Li Yongping reviewed the remarkable achievements made by the two universities in the fields of application of Sino-foreign cooperative education projects and joint trainings of postgraduates since the establishment of cooperative relations.He addressed that applying for a master’s degree is one of the key tasks of our school in 2022.The major of Electronic Information is listed as one of the three main majors applying for a master’s degree in our school.He expressed his hope that both sides will select the best teachers to participate in the cooperation project, strive for research payoffs and lay the foundation for promoting the deep cooperation between two schools in various fields.He also said that two universities will take the joint training of postgraduates as a breakthrough, further integrate the resources of both sides, give full play to their respective advantages, and carry out high-level cooperation in scientific research and personnel joint training, so as to make contributions to the educational cooperation between China and Korea.
Jiang Jinglan briefly introduced the basic situation of the School of Software Engineering Integration of Ajou University.She pointed out that the software engineering major of Ajou University is one of the best majors in Korea, and it has been successfully supported by the BK21 project in Korea for four consecutive times, especially the major of Artificial Intelligence,which has been highly recognized by all walks of life in Korea.Ajou University will spare no effort to support the curriculum design and quality assurance of postgraduate joint training, promote long-term cooperation between the two universities in the fields of personnel training and scientific research,implement common improvement of the school-running level and scientific research capability of the two universities.
On the ceremony,Jiang Jinglan,Dean of the School of Software Engineering Integration of Ajou University, and the head of the School of Computer and Information of our university signed a cooperation agreement on behalf of both sides.
The relevant personnel from the Academic Affairs Office, Scientific Research Office, International Exchange and Cooperation Office and School of Computer and Information attended the signing ceremony.
Ajou University of Korea was founded in 1973, located in Suwon, Gyeonggi Province.It is a famous research university in Korea, which is famous for its science and engineering majors, such as, engineering, information and communication, medicine, etc.Ajou University of Korea ranked 11th in 2019 by Central Daily ranking of Korean institutions of higher learning, and ranked 531st-540st in 2021 by QS World University rankings.
