The Spring Festival in the Year of the Ox is getting closer. Foreigners who choose to stay in China due to the epidemic are also busy preparing to celebrate. Then eight foreign teachers and one foreign student showed their skills in making dumplings, a must-have food for Chinese New Year.
Now, in this Chinese New Year celebration period, when the global epidemic is still severe, they have chosen to stay in Dezhou. "This is the first time I have celebrated the Spring Festival in China. There is also a tradition of making dumplings in Korea, so I don't think it is very difficult." Foreign teacher Kim Joo Young from Korea said that she was very happy to spend the Spring Festival with so many friends. In order to express her joy, she also brought the most representative delicious kimchipancake and potatopancake to share with everyone.
"This time I spent the Chinese New Year in Dezhou. Here are so many friends gathered together and I feel in a good mood." Dr. Ali from Pakistan told reporters in fluent Chinese. "There are a lot of delicious dishes. The difference between this year and the previous Chinese New Year is that I will be with many people this year and I will not feel alone."

This party also provided a stage for foreign teachers and student to show their talents and skills. Foreign teachers and student sang beautiful songs in various languages. The Chinese student from the Music College of Dezhou University played the Zheng solo "Fisherman’s Song", which made the foreign teachers and student feel the charm of traditional Chinese music. Finally, the school prepared Chinese New Year gifts for foreign teachers and student.
