Recently, 54 foreign friends have been awarded the honor of "Shangdong People's Goodwill Messenger" of the year in 2019 by the Shandong People's Association for Friendship with Foreign Countries owing to their contributions to Shandong Province's international exchanges and cooperation. Datuk Wu Hengcan of our school, deputy director of the China-Malaysia Ancient Maritime Silk Road Yijing Research Center, chairman of Malaysian Chinese Cultural Center, won this award.
Mr. Wu Hengcan is both a promoter of Sino-Malaysian friendship and a practitioner of actively spreading Chinese language and culture. And he is also a model for promoting friendly exchanges between the younger generation of China and Malaysia.
