Recently, with the approval of Shandong Province, it was agreed to list Dezhou University as the "Shandong Chinese Education Base." This is an important achievement our school has achieved in the international promotion of Chinese.
In recent years, our school has always insisted on advancing Chinese education and the spread of Chinese culture as its own responsibility, actively participated in the organization of the Overseas Chinese Teenagers Searching for Their Roots Trips, and selected many teachers and students to teach in Nigeria, Thailand, Vietnam and other countries as volunteer Chinese teachers. It has made positive contributions to promote the development of Chinese education and enhance the influence of Chinese language and culture.
As the Shandong Chinese Education Base is approved, our school will, under the guidance of superior department, undertake the training of overseas Chinese and overseas Chinese children, and provide them with good teaching and living conditions for learning Chinese language and culture; send teachers to overseas Chinese schools; overseas Chinese School teacher training; conduct exchanges and cooperation between Chinese and foreign schools; organize summer camps for overseas Chinese youths. The development of these tasks will help deepen Chinese teaching and inherit Chinese culture. At the same time, it will play a positive role in enhancing the school’s overseas influence and highlighting the school’s international characteristics.
Chinese education refers to the education of Chinese national language and Chinese culture for overseas Chinese. The purpose is to inherit and carry forward Chinese culture and maintain the national identity of overseas Chinese through the promotion of Chinese language.
